While most people would not associate the observation of Halloween with a buffet dinner, one of Ipoh’s premier hotels, Kinta Riverfront Hotel, has planned something unusual for those looking to celebrate the occasion differently.
Offering a special buffet dinner called “Halloween Scream” at the hotel’s coffeehouse, Palong, it is going to be Halloween Night with a twist.
Yesterday, the kitchen crew headed by Executive Chef Noor Hisham Mohamed Yussof, unveiled the menu; a special mix of seafood delights and Western dishes.
Set to perfection, these dishes are only a small part of the palate-pleasing menu which includes cold appetisers, seafood ice bar, salads, soups, main dishes and desserts.
Also available will be action stalls serving offerings from the barbecue grill, pasta corner and carving station for the savoury roasted lamb leg served with rosemary sauce and mint sauce.
For mains alone, there are seven mouth-watering choices, plus rice in the form of vegetable paella. Besides these photos I have enclosed, look forward to steamed fish with leek & crab meat with lobster sauce, udang masak lemak labu and kailan goreng cendawan.
To appease your sweet tooth, don’t worry, there is an extensive selection of scrumptious desserts for you to pick from, such as assorted French pastries and cakes, pineapple & banana strudel, pudding, blueberry crumble and my personal all-time favourite, the ice cream bar with toppings and also sauces of your choice.
Didn’t I tell you that these photos are just a small sample of what will be served on Halloween Night?
Also part of the celebration is a line-up of games for diners where winners will walk away with mystery gifts and fantastic prizes, including complimentary accommodation at Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites! Boy, aren’t we all looking forward to that?
Do take note that Halloween Scream Buffet Dinner at this very affordable price of RM29.90 nett is only available on 31st Oct, 2015 at Palong Coffee House.
